Mississippi winter

I feel like I should have a picture of snow to post, with my title. It is quite something---today at last break, the 4 of us all lay down on the floor that we just finished sheeting yesterday, staring straight into the bright blue sky, with green-leaved trees hovering above. Wes said "we would not be doing this if we were back home. Dec. 2. " We are trying to soak up as much as we can for we will soon be in the snow! The temperature in the last week has definately dropped by quite a bit here. We reached freezing this past night! Now, instead of having the air on all day we have the space heaters going so it's warm when we get home from work! Today was cold in the morning- I had a t-shirt, 2 hoodies and an insulated jacket on with long johns, pants, knee socks and fuzzy socks-and by lunch I was down to just a t-shirt on top. We enjoyed our time here with M & D Reimer. They left Monday morning and should be home yesterday! It's almost 6pm, that means supper is calling. We continue to count down ---8 DAYS!! and 6 WORK DAYS!! (It's not just us counting down, the other long-termers are too!! just ours has a bit of a different meaning than theirs does!!)
