We've been having really nice weather here this past week, after our wet monday. Our temperatures during the day are usually high teens and low 20's. definately t-shirt and shorts weather. We hear you have winter now back in Manitoba-i look forward to the snow but we will have enough of it this winter so we are enjoying these temperatures very much! We started working on a new house this week. I don't have a picture of the walls up, but we did get all 4 walls up by friday and one side sheeted. I was busy nailing hurricane clips in numerous places on the walls. Wes was busy building walls. This next thursday is Thanksgiving in the U.S. I think we are quitting work 1 hour early on that day. On Friday, Wes's parents (my inlaws) are coming to visit for the weekend! We are looking forward to this! So we plan to take Friday off to spend the day with them once they arrive. The next 2 weeks we don't have any short term volunteers coming, so all the long term volunteers will go the one site together. The third week (our last week!) we have a large group coming apparently. We'll go out with a bang. I think it will feel nice to have a break from new people these next 2 weeks. Today, we went for brunch with the group and walked the beach with part of the group. We saw 2 stingrays right in the shallow water, it was so neat! Tomorrow for supper we're meeting an old friend for supper. We are having a good time out here, we're enjoying our long term people here. Lots of laughter. The countdown is on.... :)
