The pictures below, describe what our past 3 days have been like. Wes and I have been working on this house. I had a chance to meet the homeowner, her daughter, and grandaughter on Monday. They are very sweet! Wes met her husband today. D's home had water damage after the hurricane 5 years ago. She has been waiting for 5 years for her new home, after they told her that her home was not worth fixing. She said she never thought this day would come. We had a local man come tonight, to speak to the group and had supper with us. He repeated many times how thankful they are that we lay down our lives to come and help them and serve our Lord. This is a good reminder to us why we are here. We have heard this numerous times throughout the year, from various people. They really are so truly greatful! Friday all the long termers will go out for a group supper to a mexican restaurant. (And Saturday is Wes's birthday! :)
