My blood was boiling a few minutes ago, partly from the hot hot heat, the air conditioner in our camper deciding not to work right now, the gecko's crawling around me as i put mattress covers on the bunks, the actually-crazy flies in our camper that did not want me to kill them, the spiders in the camper, and the big-world grasshoppers sitting on the cement outside. There is just something about these situations that didn't seem to sit well with me. The result: a bit of boiling blood for awhile. I think it's simmered a bit by now. Then one of the ladies telling me that it's a matter of time before we will see a gecko in our camper!! Now i am , you could say, just a bit paranoid of sitting and sleeping in the camper. Just a bit. I do wonder often, why God made some of those icky things. I really would like to know. But among all this, i am still enjoying being here. Imagine that. This morning i folded and sorted a few boxes of MDS t-shirts, and put mattress covers on the bunks. Wes and 19 yr old Tim, another long term volunteer, have been moving playground equipment from the mowing area, and now plan to wash out the MDS boat and find the leak that needs fixing. The girls get part of the afternoon off. :)
