How to keep frogs off your camper. (any ideas!?)
We have a frog problem. They seem to love our camper. Every time we come to the camper, weather it is 5 minutes apart, 15, or 3 hours. They are there. Often 3 of them. They are apparently called tree frogs, they range from the size of a nickel to a dime, and they are BRIGHT green and some are a bit lighter to blend in with the camper. They seem to love the area of our door. So i am SO paranoid that they will jump either on us, or into our camper when we open the door. So far we've been breaking branches off our tree next to us, and flicking them off. 5 minutes later they're BACK! So this evening we found an old broom as our weapon against the frogs. I don't LIKE THEM!! One lady said they can even be behind the door handle on the camper. I am working on my tolerance level of these crazy gross things, although there are times i feel as though i will have a breakdown!! Just one more thing to "get over"! Anyways, besides the frogs, it's back to boating to and from work. There is a group of 6 men here this week. Today Wes and I and one other man worked on a house on the bayou, fixing things that past volunteers have done, but unfortunately done un-correctly. So Wes & I took off siding and a window and made the opening bigger for another window right beside the other one. Two other men were working on grinding the fibreglass off of the MDS boat because it is broken in the bottom. They are planning on putting another layer of fibreglass on it yet. There were a few more small groups doing different things on houses.
6am came all too early for us again! This evening, we had a canadian thanksgiving meal with Turkey and all the fixin's! Some of the group dressed up a bit too. It was delicious! Happy Thanksgiving!
