Another 2 work days done. Yesterday, Wes and his crew worked in the rain for 1 1/2 hours, and the roof they had taken apart, to patch, let a lot of rain in the house, as the rain came pouring-suddenly. So he was wet wet and soggy when he came home yesterday. Today went better for him. They got the roof patched. As for me, i am feeling very overwhelmed being the only one who knows how to mud, in our group, and other things along with that. So mud, sand, mud and sand. That's what I am doing these days. I am praying for STRENGTH that I may do this with JOY in my HEART! Our project director here is in his later years, and it's his first time being director. Everything is very unknown to everyone, undecided, up in the air. Which makes it hard, both as long term and short termers, to know what is going on. It gets very frustrating at times--another thing we're praying about. Not to be anxious about ANYTHING but to present our requests to God. Today Wes had a lonesome sandal underneath our camper,(after me telling him many times not to leave them there) only to find the other one dragged across the yard, chewed and ripped, by our cute neighbor dogs. Lesson learned??? Hmmm not sure yet. It was kinda funny though. We received a package in the mail today from some friends from back home---which contained CHOCOLATE. What a lovely surprise! It always seems to come just when I need it--after a not so good day--when you're feeling a bit down or frustrated, a nice email, letter or package shows up :) Thank you SO much for those everyone! This really does make our day a lot brighter! There are a lot of "different" critters around here. Little geckos (which were also in CA), lots of dragonflies, snakes (haven't seen one yet but others have) mosquitos!!! (they're not so different) and today i am SURE i had a gnat biting me!!! also lots of huge beetles and weird unknown bugs. I am enjoying our laundry out here a lot more-i don't need to get any key from anybody, our washer and dryers are NEW and there is 2 of each, and they WORK! its handy., Right now, like i already said, everything is so "crazy" out here with nobody knowing what is going on. It tires a person out. Hopefully things get better soon!! God is good and he knows just what we need! We hear that you have really nice weather back home, which is wonderful!! Enjoy!
