Arrival at Pass Christian

We left Diamond today at around 11am, stopped for lunch and arrived in Pass around 3pm. It is beautiful here, our MDS yard is very campgroundish with space and trees. I will post pictures. Wes and I went for supper to Chili Willie's Pizzaria and it was delicious! Around 6 we came back and met all the long term volunteers and had a meeting and homemade icecream. Tomorrow we will all go to a black baptist Church which apparently lasts at least 2 hours. And apparently a lot of standing. Then we'll go for lunch with the group. So far, things seem like they will be lots of fun! I'm sure they will be. I tried to listen to Christmas music the other day, but that didn't last very long. It just didn't feel right! Although the temperature out here has been a lot cooler, (it feels so nice!) knowing that the snow isn't coming, oranges are ripe, and trees are blooming, I can't wrap my brain around that. I guess we'll get into the Christmas mood when we get back home. I asked Wes what he has to say to you and he says "it's a very beautiful area and it has white sand beaches. " That is the extent of what I can get out of him for the blog!
