Down On The Bayou

Arrival time : 4pm Wednesday October 6 We made it safe and sound, thanks for all the prayers!! When we arrived, no one was around so we just hung out for about 15 min or so, then two men showed up. The project director and the construction foreman, their wives are out somewhere. So we got our camper parked and hooked up, (Wes is still working on getting it all "just so"). Not sure what the plans are for supper and this evening so we'll wait and see. We were also welcomed by the oh so friendly knats--i was prayin real hard that they wouldn't be here! The plus side is that i haven't had a bite by one yet. ........yet. Diamond is the place we were 2 years ago for one month, so it's so nice and familiar and has the feeling of home to us. We're excited to be working for the people down here on the bayou! I will attatch some pictures of some Louisiana cotton combining on the way down, and where we're at now.
