Deer and antelope continue to hop too and fro, everywhere we go. We've also seen a number of foxes, one moose and many many prairie dogs. No matter how hard people try to hit them with their vehicles, those guys are too fast! (or they do get hit and the birds pick them up before we can see them laying on the road! ) The scenery is beautiful. This week we have a group of 8 or so, guys from La Crete AB. There's full force low german being spoken this week by them all--it's nice to hear. Every week we go a few times a week to either watch, or jump with the groups off the bridge just down the road. (I finally jumped for the first time last week--)
Tonight we have a camp fire here at Simmie Camp with the rock solid guys at 9 pm.
The cook has had 10 mice in her camper in 6 days. Apparently about 20 so far in the dining hall. Today we had a few very short rain showers-about 1 minute each-.
The house is coming along nicely-all that Wes needs to finish on the roof is put tin, fascia and gable trim on the entrance. I have been mudding and taping the past few days, also helping Wes with soffit, fascia and gabel trim off the scissor lift. The lift now gets to stay as long as we need it! Answer to prayer! Most of the drywall is done in the house. We will find out this friday if we're here for another 1 or 2 weeks.
Continued prayer for strength would be much appreciated.
Not much else to say I guess, not that much changes out here. I am a little disappointed to miss the harvest fest this year-- hope you all have fun out there!
