Today is Sunday. We went to Church this morning and it was so neat to hear others around us talking about when they became a Christian. I have heard quite a few say "one year" or "3 years" , and it felt so different to hear about all these, when back home, you are almost "used to" people around you, all as Christians, most of them all their lives. It was exciting to see new Christians! I miss our Church back home, although we do feel at home already, in Ramona Grace Church. People are very friendly with newcomers. After Church, we went to a beautiful golf course restaurant. I had the worlds best salad there. Mmmm. Then Wes and I had naps and now are just relaxing. There is no orientation tonight (yay!) due to the groups not arriving until late. Yesterday we got together with a girl we had met on MDS in Louisiana, we went to Mission beach, to the OCEAN, yes, the REAL ocean, it was AMAZING! Then to Old town, which is the first settlements of San Diego. Now a tourist area. We had a very authentic mexican supper where the ladys are making tortillas in the window and people are serenaded with a mexican band. very cool. I did post some new pictures as well.
